KNEE Joints or HIP Joints in the Golf Swing?

Do you know if the knee joints or the hip joints are the primary balancing joints in your golf swing? It's probably a question that has never been posed to you before. When a golf swing is performed, either the hip joints or the knee joints are the primary balancing joints and the others are the secondary balancing joints.

Posture1

Corrective measures can be taken to strengthen and improve our posture through proper training. Most of the traditional training is counterproductive for bringing the spine back into alignment. Isolating and training the golf muscles require proper mechanics and movement. Reeducating and strengthening these muscle groups will bring the body into balance, creating increased range of motion, strength and efficient rotation.

Posture2

"Take your stance and set up with a good posture." We often hear this when we take a golf lesson. "But...What is good posture?"

Good posture begins with the knowledge of the spine and the four natural curves of the spine. When the four curves of the spine are in alignment, the shoulders and the hips are in alignment. If the four curves are out of alignment, the shoulders and/or hips are out of alignment. Imagine a straight line from the center of the ear hole down through the center of the shoulder and hip joints, behind the knee joint, and through the center of the ankle joint. This is neutral joint alignment and the way the body was designed to carry itself.
